Introducing the ISPEP Advisory Board: Strengthening Our Mission and Member Voice

We’re pleased to announce the launch of the ISPEP Advisory Board – an important step in strengthening our strategic direction, ensuring transparency with our member base, and upholding our not-for-profit mission. The Advisory Board will provide independent, non-executive guidance to ISPEP’s leadership, with representation from industry professionals, patient organisations, compliance, legal and/or regulatory specialists, and global patient engagement experts.

This new governance mechanism has been established to fulfil our obligations as a UK-registered organisation operating as a not-for-profit and to ensure that ISPEP continues to serve the evolving needs of the community with integrity, accountability, and international representation.

The Advisory Board will meet quarterly and will play a key role in shaping our strategy, championing our mission externally, and contributing to our Annual Impact Report.

We will shortly begin recruiting members, with nominations opening in the next few weeks. Members will be selected for their expertise, diverse perspectives, and commitment to ISPEP’s values. This is a voluntary role with the opportunity for honorarium-based contributions tied to specific deliverables.

If you are passionate about advancing the patient engagement profession and shaping the future of ISPEP, we encourage you to consider applying or nominating a peer. The application form can be found here.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more representative voice for patient engagement professionals worldwide.
