ISPEP Advisory Board: Inaugural Meeting Minutes, January 2026

On January 15th, the inaugural ISPEP Advisory Board met virtually for their first quarterly meeting. 

The agenda ensured the members had time to understand each others’ diverse perspectives and agree how to work together, to support Advisory Board cohesions and collaboration. 

Prior to reviewing ISPEP's strategy and goals, the advisors provided thoughtful and well-informed input on patient engagement ecosystem trends of relevance to ISPEP’s future.  These included:

●      Professionalisation of patient engagement

●      Measurement and value

●      Ecosystem structural and funding challenges

●      Equity, diversity, and inclusion

●      Digital and AI tools

●      Behavioural science in patient engagement

●      Regulatory and operational complexity

Over the coming weeks the Advisors will help prioritise ISPEP’s 2026 goals. Future meetings will address measuring ISPEP impact, and longer-term strategy.
