With over 15 years of experience across healthcare, patient engagement, pharmaceutical services, and consulting, Shilpa has built her career around understanding patient journeys and bringing the patient voice into healthcare decision making. Her journey began with direct interactions with patients, which shaped her belief that meaningful care goes beyond treatment to include empathy, support, access, and informed participation.

Across organizations including Indegene, Viatris, Portea, BioQuest, DKI Health, and now 4baseCare, she has worked on patient support programs, patient access, advocacy, HCP engagement, and strategic patient centricity initiatives across global and Indian markets. At 4baseCare, she recently established a Patient and Caregiver Advisory Board, creating a platform for lived experiences to directly inform our patient engagement strategy and solutions.
 

Her ambition is to help transform India’s healthcare ecosystem by embedding patient voice, participation, and lived experience into how healthcare is designed and delivered.
